Terms of service

Draft for legal review. This page describes how the service works today and will be finalised before launch. Last updated 8 October 2026.

These terms apply to businesses that use TapReview, operated by The Expo Company (“we”, “us”). By ordering cards or using the business panel, you agree to them.

The service

TapReview gives each of your staff a review card with NFC and a QR code. Customers who tap or scan it can rate their visit, get a draft review that names the staff member and post it on Google, or send you private feedback. You get a business panel with dashboards, feedback follow-up, staff and branch management, and monthly reports.

Accounts and PINs

Owners, branch managers and staff sign in with their mobile number and a 6-digit PIN. You are responsible for who you add to your account and for keeping PINs private. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.

Cards

We print and program every card. Each card is tied to one staff member and is never reassigned; when someone leaves, you switch their card off in the panel. Cards only work while your subscription is active; otherwise they show that the card is inactive. Replacement cards and delivery terms are to confirm.

Plans and payment

Cards are a one-time purchase. Keeping them working needs a subscription, charged per business, per branch or per staff member depending on your plan, monthly or yearly. The current prices are on our pricing page and at checkout. Payments are processed by Razorpay. Taxes, refunds and cancellation terms are to confirm.

Honest reviews

You agree to use TapReview in line with Google’s review policies. In particular, you must not offer customers money, discounts or anything else for a review or a rating, pressure them to post, or post reviews yourself or through your staff. We always show customers the option to post on Google, whatever their rating, and you may not ask us to remove it.

What we don’t promise

We can’t promise a number of reviews or any rating. Google decides what appears on your profile and may remove reviews under its own rules. Matching Google reviews to staff is a best effort and is shown as “matched”, not confirmed. Review drafts are suggestions written by an AI service; customers decide what to post.

Your data

The ratings, feedback and reports in your panel are yours. You may use customers’ contact details only to follow up on the feedback they sent. How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy.

Ending the service

You can stop your subscription at any time; your cards then stop recording. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, especially the honest-reviews rules, after telling you why where we can. What happens to your data after you leave is to confirm.

Liability and law

We work hard to keep TapReview running, but we can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. Limits of our liability are to confirm. These terms are governed by the laws of India; the courts with jurisdiction are to confirm. Questions: contact@theexpoco.com.
