How it works

Exactly what your customers, staff and you will see.

One card for each person on your team. A customer taps it, rates their visit, and either posts on Google with a draft that names the staff member, or tells you privately first.

  • CustomersTap, rate, post. No app, no sign-up.
  • StaffCarry their own card and see their own ratings.
  • Owners & managersSee every rating, follow up on feedback, download reports.

For your customers

Four steps, under a minute.

  1. 1

Tap the card, or scan it

On an iPhone, the customer holds the card near the top of the phone and taps the notification that appears. On Android, near the back with NFC on. Every card also carries a QR code for any phone with a camera.

The card always opens our page for that staff member, never a bare Google link, so every visit is counted.

  2. 2

    Rate the visit

The page shows your business and the name of the person who served them. One tap on the stars, and the options below change to suit the rating.

  3. 3

    Pick what stood out

Up to three quick options, which you can set for your business. Happy customers see what went well; unhappy ones see what went wrong. A few words of their own are optional.

When they tap Continue, the rating is saved against that staff member, whatever they do next.

  4. 4

At four or five stars we write a few short lines from what they picked, each naming the staff member. They choose one, edit it if they like, and tap “Copy & open Google”. Google’s review form opens for your branch; they tap the stars and paste.

When a visit went wrong

You hear it first. Google is still one tap away.

At one to three stars, the main button sends private feedback to you, with the customer’s name and mobile number and a consent line saying you may contact them about it.

Right underneath, “Post on Google instead” is always shown. Hiding Google from unhappy customers is against Google’s rules, and it would make your good reviews worth less.

Feedback lands in your panel as New. You call, mark it Contacted, add notes, and close it as Resolved.

How a Google review is matched to a staff member.

Connect your Google Business Profile once. We read new reviews with your permission and match each one to the person who earned it.

  1. The draft they copied

If the review contains the draft the customer copied from our page, it’s matched to that card’s staff member.

  2. The name in the review

Otherwise, if the review mentions a staff member by name, it’s matched to them. That’s why each name is unique within your business, like “Priya S.”

  3. The time it was posted

Otherwise, if only one customer went to Google from your cards shortly before the review appeared, it’s matched to that staff member.

Google doesn’t tell anyone who wrote a review, so these are shown as matched, never “confirmed”. Reviews that can’t be matched still count towards your totals.

FAQ

Questions people ask

Something else? Ask us directly.

Do customers need to download an app?

No. Tapping the card or scanning its QR code opens a normal web page in the phone’s browser. There is nothing to install and no account to create.

Does it work on every phone?

Tapping works on iPhones from the iPhone XS onwards and on Android phones with NFC switched on. Any phone with a camera can scan the QR code printed on the same card.

Is this allowed by Google?

Yes, the way it is built. Every customer is offered Google whatever their rating, nobody is rewarded for a review, and customers post from their own Google account. Google does not allow businesses to ask only happy customers for reviews, so we never filter who is asked.

Do customers have to use the draft?

No. The draft is a starting point: customers can edit it, pick another, or write their own review on Google.

What happens when a staff member leaves?

You switch their card off in the business panel. Cards are never handed to someone else, so a new staff member gets their own new card and their own ratings start from zero.

Who can see a customer’s name and mobile number?

Only the owner and the managers of that branch, and only for private feedback. Staff see their own ratings but never customer contact details.

Can one customer rate again and again?

Each phone can leave up to three ratings a day across your cards, which keeps the numbers fair.

What if our subscription lapses?

The cards show a short “currently inactive” message and nothing is recorded until the subscription is active again. Your history stays in the panel.
